What a satire Punjab Govt.

On one side the e Chief Minister of Punjab our very own Shahbaz Shareef is acting like a messiah for the crushed Punjabis and solacing their pains and providing relief to the needy of his provincial domain and cleansing the centuries old corrupt system of Punjab, as the history of bribe and corruption is as old as the history of Punjab itself which benefited all the foreign invaders and intruders from Shahab-ud-Din Ghaori to our beloved British (well this was, is and always has been our regional problem). No doubts about the performance of our CM from supporting the restoration of the Chief Justice of Pakistan and also of himself but after his being restored he has been equally competing with the CJ in going places emending the problems and showing concern to each cause ranging from the corruption in the system to the street crime. Well good for us but suddenly out of the blue on 9th of this month (May) a breaking ticker blinked on the TV channels from City 42 to Geo, following beepers of their respective reporters that despite the ongoing crisis in Punjab, financial and political, the Punjab government has bought a fleet of TOYOTA GLI 2009 model consisting of 30 lavishly luxurious cars costing our humble government the sum of some 4 Crores and 20 Lakhs in Rupees , which will surely be apt in keeping the heat, dust pollution and of course the poor public with Their thousands of genuine problems out of the tainted glasses and the sight of the V.V.V.V.I.P personnel sitting safely and relaxing in these cars. Now what a luxury? What an investment? Actually what and Why? No answers as usual no explanations to the tax payers poor public of Punjab who have to pay tax on each and every thing of use they buy or eat and inflation is on its rise but maybe the need of this TOYOTA fleet was much greater than the needs of the Punjabis who are loosing all they had and all what they need.
Instead for giving the reason that what a major need occurred to the Govt. to buy this fleet the Govt. spokesmen provided the media with the explanation of how cleverly they have provided 15 cars to the provincial ministers and 15 for the bureaucrats, showing the sense of equality indeed, and the cars in their use will not be wasted or sold but will be handed to the parliamentary secretaries, GOOD MANAGEMENT indeed but WE ARE NOT IMPRESSED!!!!!! As our sources told us with confirmation that the Govt. already had a big fleet, competing with the fleet of ships which crossed the Grecian sea to conquer TROY and bring back the Helen who eloped with a Trojan prince, how romantic but THIS is not at all romantic as we paid for the luxury we won’t even be able to watch, feeling it is like unimaginable, and it was in the air that those cars will be sold to sustain the finances of the Govt. but what a KHULA TAZZAD!!! (As Sohail Warraich of Geo mocks it) What an IRONY! or maybe a Satire on the Punjabis by the Khadim-e-Alaa
